Pancake Man
The Pancake Man came to Rumsey Station on Monday January 24th. He made pancakes for over 500 Rumsey family members. He flipped pancakes to some people to see if they could catch them on theirplate. What a fun time!
Safety Patrol
Safety Patrol has been working hard all year to keep students safe. Every morning and afternoon, rain or shine, Safety Patrol is standing on their corners to keep you safe. Good job Safety Patrol!

Symmetrical Drawings
In art 6th graders have been making symmetrical drawings. They draw a design on a half sheet of paper then trace it onto a full sheet of paper. They are going to paint their pictures with intermediate colors.
D.A.R.E
6th graders will be participating in D.A.R.E every Wednesday during second semester. D.A.R.E stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. Students will be learning how to make good choices later in life. Their D.A.R.E officer is Deputy Damewood.

Holiday Party
6th graders enjoyed making ornaments for their families. They drew designs and messages on their ornaments. This was one of the many fun things they did at the holiday party.
