Every first Thursday of each month, Mrs. Cologne, the media specialist, hosts a story time with 3 to 5 year olds. They also listen to an interesting story. After that they experience activities to take home. They will get a little snack to hold them off until lunch. The public schools host this so the preschoolers won’t be scared when they come to kindergarten. Some interesting activities they have made are: Planting flowers in flower pots, make paper teddy bears and have a picnic. Parents are allowed to come and help their little cutie have a good time. Even if their child is not going to be a student at Rumsey they are still invited to come have a good time.
