On Monday October 25th our elementary students were dressed in red to prevent drugs for red ribbon week. Grades k-6th got to participate in this event. The kids had fun dressing in the same color to show they are drug free as you can see in these pictures. The phrase of this day was “Be Drug Free!” Kids received a red ribbon if they wore red.

6th graders worked on plaster masks in art class.  They made a plaster mold of their own faces. Classmates laid 2 layers of plaster gauze on people’s faces. In following art classes students will decorate their masks using other materials. Their masks had to fit one of the following categories: ceremonies/rituals, theater/drama, hunting /war.
