6th graders dissected owl pellets on September 27th. 6th grade students are currently learning about ecosystems and how they work. They identified bones and hypothesized what animals the owl might eat. Some found skulls from a small rodent while others found the jaw of a bird. The students separated the bones from the fur in a hands-on experiment during Science class.
