Owl Pellets

6th graders dissected owl pellets on September 27^th. 6^th grade students are currently learning about ecosystems and how they work. They identified bones and hypothesized what animals the owl might eat. Some found skulls from a small rodent while others found the jaw of a bird. The students separated the bones from the fur in a hands-on experiment during Science class.
